ONLINE SHOPPING

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, prices, photographic representations and descriptions of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the appearances, colours, textures or finishes of our products that appear on the website. Information pertaining to sizes and dimensions are also approximate and given as indications only. Accuracy of colour you see will depend on your monitor and computer equipment. We are therefore unable to guarantee that the product images are an accurate representation of the actual merchandise. Please refer to our Returns Policy if you are unhappy with your purchase.

We will not be liable if, for any reason, the Pierre Stationery website is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts or all the Pierre Stationery website.

ORDER PROCESS

All orders that you place on this website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Non-acceptance of your order may be due to any one or more of the following non-exhaustive reasons:

The product you ordered is out of stock;
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment;
We have identified a pricing or product description error;
There is a system or procurement failure; and
Failed customer validation checks.

When you place an order on our website we shall email you an acknowledgement detailing the product/s you have ordered. This email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from PIERRE STATIONERY.

Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and PIERRE STATIONERY will take place when your order is dispatched.

DELIVERY

All parcels will be delivered by carrier and will require a signature on delivery.

Please note that your delivery may take longer during sale or other busy periods. We are unable to guarantee delivery within any estimated time frame.

We will make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales. However, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors or events outside our control, for example extreme weather, a flood or fire. PIERRE STATIONERY shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.

If an order or part of it is returned to PIERRE STATIONERY the customer is responsible for cost of res-sending the item/s and for fees charged to PIERRE STATIONERY for return delivery.

PIERRE STATIONERY  offers free delivery to customers in Malta within 3 working days of order (this excludes Saturdays, Sundays and public/national holidays). A minimum spend on value of goods is required to qualify for free delivery. The minimum spend amount is at the discretion of PIERRE STATIONERY and can be revised at any time. The minimum spend for Malta is currently €45 with the exception of Marsa, Ħamrun, Msida, Santa Venera,Tal-Pietà which is €30 and for Gozo is €75. These supersede any previous amounts that may have been advertised at an earlier time.

Should a delivery attempt to a Malta or Gozo address by PIERRE STATIONERY prove unsuccessful due to there being nobody at the address we will arrange for a re-delivery if the customer wishes. This will be done at a charge of €10 paid by credit card in advance. Alternatively, the customer may opt to collect the item/s from the our shop in Hamrun.

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide us with the correct and complete shipping/delivery address when placing the order. If this is wrong and the order is returned to us the customer is responsible for the ‘return to sender’ charges as well as the cost to re-send the item/s.

RETURNS POLICY

The following Returns Policy applies to this online store only and does not apply to purchases made at our physical outlets.

We take great pride in customer care reputation. It is important to us that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely happy with your order, we will gladly issue a refund for the value of the merchandise that you wish to return. Returns will be accepted within 14 days of purchase. Items returned must be in their original condition with tags and packaging intact (where applicable)

Refund will be made using the same method as customer’s payment method and once the merchandise has been received.

Original delivery fees are not refundable.

In the case of returns for damaged goods, PIERRE STATIONERY may, upon review of the case in question, agree to cover the costs incurred by customer for delivering the item/s back to us. In this case, the standard shipping option must be used or

Where promotional discounts are applied to orders, the discount will be applied to each item in the basket. In the event of a return, you will not be refunded the discounted proportion. Additionally, any free promotional gift given with an order must also be returned if you are returning those goods to which the gift related.

Gift Vouchers are strictly non-refundable.

If item/s returned have been purchased with a gift voucher the client will receive a credit note for the value of the original voucher. If the item/s were of a higher value than that of the gift voucher and customer paid a further amount to make up the difference, that amount only will be due as a refund by whichever method that amount was paid (excluding original delivery costs).

All costs related to returning item/s back to PIERRE STATIONERY are to be borne by the customer returning said item/s.

Don’t forget to ask for proof of postage for your records. Please make sure that you obtain proof of posting as PIERRE STATIONERY will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged item and we reserve the right to charge the client for any such lost or damaged item/s.

In the event that a parcel is returned to PIERRE STATIONERY with a return fee and the parcel was shipped to the shipping address given by client, PIERRE STATIONERY reserves the right to forward the parcel return fee on to the client by either deducting the fee from the refund amount or as an extra fee if sending again.

Refunds on delivered goods will be made on balance after VAT, delivery costs, processing fees and any other costs have been deducted.

PAYMENT METHODS

Mastercard, Visa, BOVpay and Revolut are accepted as a form of payment through this website.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your purchase and payment secure, but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we will not be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the PIERRE STATIONERY website. You are responsible for checking the security measures offered by your chosen online payment method.

By making an offer to buy a product, you specifically authorise us to transmit information (including any updated information) or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to, your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.

PRICING POLICY

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the Maltese rate of 18%. A reduced VAT rate of 5% may apply on certain products as applicable by law.

Although we try to ensure all our prices displayed on our website are accurate, errors may sometimes occur. If we discover an error in the price of an item you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order in respect of the incorrectly priced item as cancelled.

PIERRE STATIONERY endeavours to ensure that all merchandise offered on the website is available at the same price as in our shop in Ħamrun. However, from time to time we may offer additional discounts for purchases online from www.pierre.mt that do not apply in-store, or vice versa. Additionally, items offered as sets on this site may not be offered as part of a set within the shop and individual prices may apply.

Any sale offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY / INFORMATION

We try our best to feature products on the Pierre Stationery website that are also for sale from our shop in Ħamrun. Once an item is sold out it will be marked accordingly. Prices of products may change from time to time. Goods are subject to availability. As there is a delay between the time when your order is placed, and the time when the order is accepted, the stock position relating to particular items may change. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we accept the order we shall notify you as soon as possible and you will not be charged for the out of stock items.
